FIFA 22 - The Only Skill Moves You Need To Know - Top 8 Skills Tutorial
Intro
Hello friends, Boris here, and today's time for my FIFA 22 skill moves tutorial. There are a lot of great moves in the game, but here we're just going to focus on the most important ones. I'm going to scale this down to only eight moves, which in my opinion are perfect enough to know to fully succeed in FIFA 22.
Fake shot
First, we have to open up a fake shelter, which is a new move on this list, and it's a one-star skill move that was introduced around FIFA 19, but this year it is actually better than ever. The animation is smoother than before, and the ball stays close to the attacker. It is a great way to break through with speed, those as well great to use on the wing to dribble around the defender, a simple move that is very effective, and this one can be canceled as well with l2r2, which of course adds variation and makes it unpredictable, all right.
This one is quite easy. You just here press down l1 or lbxbox, and then you make a fake shot, which is a crossing button followed by a passing button, and then just aim the left stick in some direction, but you should have this 145 degrees either left or right of the direction that you're facing. So now we're just facing forward, which means we should exit either like this or like this, which looks like this fake shot.
If you see this, hold down l1, and then fake a shot, and if you want to catch this one, you have to use the castle feature l2r2. After doing this first action, it looks like this: This and then cancel. You have to be quite quick, but you will get into it again. Open up a fake shot and then press down l2r2, in the middle of this motion, to cancel this move and add variation.
Short cancel
Next up we have the short cut, another one-star skill move that is deadly to use in the box. This gives you by far the quickest and smoothest directional change and should be used to escape a blocking defender.
This will also add clumsy animations to the opponent's defender if performed correctly with the right timing, and can easily open up the space for a clear shot. What is important with this one is that you must do it at jogging speed. If you sprint into this one, it won't be effective. And this one again, you have to use a castle feature.
Within the short motion, so you go like this, you shoot and then right away you press down ltr2 and aim in the opposite direction with the left stick, so if you're looking towards the right side when you exit towards the left side, like this, we're looking right shooting and then towards this other side.
To get this nice twist and this very clean animation that goes so quickly, see that this one is way faster than a fake shot. Now compare this to a normal fake shot. Well, this one is super clean. The player doesn't lose any momentum whatsoever.
Ball roll
We must always include a ball roll. It has been the most versatile move since before Christ, and his this year was amazing. It is brilliant to use it to open up new passing lanes to surpass your opponent on the wing. You can also here use multiple ball rolls, but those as well look great as a one-on-one skill move, both against the defender and against the keeper.
The best part is that it only takes two star skill moves and it is extremely easy to do a whole faint skill move that still delivers. All right, so this one we all know how to do the pretty much two-star skill move. You just aim the right stick either right or left and hold it like that for half a second if you want to go right.
We're going to go left, like this, and you can also make multiple ball rolls by just holding the y stick at the same angle. We go right. We just keep on holding it. It's going to make multiple balls. extremely simple and extremely effective in the way described here. We go around holding it and there we go, triple bar roll, and we might have here a free Next up, we have the Roulette.
Roulette
I love it. This year has been great for a long time, and while other skill moves are getting nerfed, this one is just as good as ever, if not even more powerful. It's a three-star skill move and is best used against a rushing defender.
The ball stays protected and you can easily surpass the opponent. If you have good timing when performing this move, I have thousands of clips with this one. Roulette in Figo 22 is simply brilliant. You can do this one in two different ways, either right or left, but you always start in the opposite direction with this emotion 180 motion with the right stick and nothing else, just the right stick.
180 like this. 180, 180 either right or left depending on how you move this right stick, so it's a 180 half-circular motion and if you go from down to right to up, it will do it to the right side and then vice versa if you do it towards the left side like this, right and left motion, and this is important to know because if the opponent is rushing from, let's say, the right side, you should do this exit to move this roulette towards the left side and vice versa. Depending on how the opponent is approaching you, you have two different options with this amazing move.
Scoop turn
It is time for the four-star scoop turn, a move that is great to use in the boxer to simply scoop around the defender, but the ball must be standing still if you have a four-star skiller, so you must stop the ball first.
You can do this in some different ways. This one is also great to use on the wing when the attack looks dead. Just stop the ball and scoop around the full back to find your way into a very dangerous position. This one is also easy to perform. It's just a fake shot. That is the crossing button followed by a passive button, and then aim the left stick in the direction you want.
The extra direction you aim at will decide the extra direction. Like this, go backwards, backwards we go forwards. It's just a fake shot plus left stick, nothing else. You can stop the ball using l1 or lb xbox like this, or you can use the fake shot stop, which is a fake shot and releasing the left stick like this.
You can also make a tactical fake shot stop by holding down r1 and pointing this left stick towards your desired exit direction of this stop like this, and then into this move. All this will have dragged back holding down l1 r1 like this and then just left stuck like this, a little bit of half motion.
If you hold it, it's going to be a full 180. Which you don't want to do in this case.
Elastico
This and then this all right, The five-star skill moves the first out. Elastico, the Ronaldo favorite, is a true rocket this year again, and this year you can not cancel it, but the default animation is still strong enough to trick the defender. This one can be performed while standing still as well.
