Elden Ring - Ranni Complete Questline Guide - How To Get The Dark Moon Greatsword (ranni's Quest)

So my beautiful people. I am back with another elder ring article and today I'm going to guide you through the Venice side quest, which is pretty big but it rewards you with an amazing dark moon great sword, but it also opens up the opportunity for you to earn more rewards too, and that's why I want to make the guide so I can send people back to it in reference to other articles when I do cover other things which need this side quest completed.

You should get it done in under an hour, especially with this guy's help. They are unavoidable, and they are on their way. We've already taken out Vanilla, Queen of the Full Moon, who is located in the academy.

You have the royal night loretta within Carrier Manor, so there's two bosses out of the way for you already. If not, it doesn't really matter because they are along the way to getting this questline completed.

1: talk to renna at the church of elleh. she normally appears at night, the day after you first get your mount.

Okay, so first up, guys, you need to obviously have talked to Runner at the church of Ella. You would have done this really early on. She's there normally the night after you get your mount.

2: how to start ranni side quest

Loretta's boss is located in the main room here, so yeah, once you've taken him out, you can then progress and start running his quest line. If you've already taken him out, then you are good people. Don't worry about this. So yeah, once you've taken them out, if you've already done this, make your way to Venice Roy's and climb to the top of this tower.

3: complete ranni mini task of talking to 3 phantoms within ranni's rise

Once you've done this, you then need to go downstairs within the tower because you won't actually be able to leave the area and talk to the three phantoms. They are located within the tower. They're harder to miss than they are to spot, so yeah, get that done.

Then, once you've done that, go back and talk to Rani.

4: goto siofra river well & talk to blaidd (if he isnt there for you, just progress forward)

If you click on this dialogue, select Accept the Task and ask about Necron, a place we're going to be going to.

6: goto waypoint ruins & speak with sellen.

Then, guys, you need to go to Waypoint Ruins and give the salubrious introduction to Sorcerer's Selling. Now for me, I'd already done the selling quest line, so selling wasn't within my waypoint rules anymore.

7: defeat starscourge radahn (start quest from here if you have previously defeated him)

It's wild people, it's world speech where they're But like me, there may be a chance that there's no actual extra dialogue here or no progression here, which is completely fine. That's what happened to me, so let's carry on to the next step. When you have to, when you first get to a downed cutscene, you have to fight the Dan and take him out.

8: head to nokron & defeat the mimic tear boss to progress

From here, you will have to progress through and past the mimik. Tia's boss fights are, like I said, a walk in the park. And a little bit of advice: take off all your armor and just slay people because they mimic what you do.

9: collect the fingerslayer blade for ranni

And from here guys, follow the path I am taking unscrewed now to grab the finger slayer blade. This is something we have to return to Ronnie and give her, and this will complete Part One of Ronnie's quest. That's probably your best bet.

11: how to get to ainsel river main - alt route requires you to take out the twin gargoyles boss

For me, that teleport was not there. Well, going down here, guys, actually doesn't give you access to where we need to go. It doesn't give you access to where we need to actually get within this area because we need to get up here. Well, you actually come down here and you can't actually focus up here.

And they ain't too easy, if I'm honest. Yours and these are located back within Necron, so from the mimiktia, grace point spot, this is where you need to come to. You need to come and follow the direction I am taking right now and come all the way up to the great waterfall basin, which is the closest grace point.

Okay, so once you've taken out the twin gargoyles, if you go to the back of the room, there will be a grace. Where we need to actually go next is the deep root depths. Now from the deep root depths, guys, you will start here. The great waterfall crest is where you were spawned. When you use that coffin, now if you've already got any of these grace points you can see on screen now, that's even better for you.

12: find the miniature ranni doll then speak with ranni via the grace nearby

Maine: Okay, so once you are here guys, you need to pick up the items on the floor and you will see that there is a miniature Rani doll. Keep selecting this until more dialogue pops up.

13: find & defeat baleful shadow & collect the discarded palace key

From here, guys, we need to go to the rail Lucario grand library. This is actually the area where you will have to fight if you haven't already defeated Granella, Queen of the Full Moon.

If you've already taken her out, you are good. If you haven't, she will await you to take her down. Now, if you have already taken her down, or once you do take her down, you will notice a chest to her right. I believe it is. This is where you use that discarded palace key.

16: head back to the lake of rot grace, then follow the path to progress

From here, guys, you need to go back to that lake of rut.

17: defeat the astel naturalborn of the void boss

Once you've cleared out the dialogue, you will be rewarded with the Dark Moon Great Sword. And there we have it, people, the runny quest line and its reward. The end of the article has now arrived. If you enjoyed it, leave a like.
